Three days into the next step now, and I have some idea of what it will entail. The perpetual chemo pump is annoying but not a big deal. The daily radiation treatments haven't had any side effects yet, but that's not expected for a couple more weeks.
The funniest aspect of this round has been my new tattoos! They put some marks on my behind with an ink pen, and then added three small "dot" tattoos as a permanent alignment device. I'm bragging about it, calling it my "tramp stamp" tattoo. In reality they are no more than freckle-sized. Is that funny or what?
Mostly, I feel a little bit tired. Perhaps it's just an excuse to take a long nap every afternoon, but that's what feels good to me.
That's about it for now.
Driving on,
Clem

So they needed to tattoo a map of Pennsylvania next to the segment of California with the San Andreas Fault, to line up the machinery.
But, whatever works!
I prefer to think of the designs as "tribal", possibly related to that mysterious Burning Thing that they do out in the desert...
HAHA thanks for the visual! ;-) Maybe you should get them tatt'd in for real and you'll have a permanent reminder to tell a great story next time you're in the desert...or the nude gay beach you've been frequenting! ;-)
After a month away on a trip, the whole time praying for your recovery and wishing that I had written back as soon as Pam told me about the operation, I can say I'm thrilled to be looking at a picture of your smiling rear-end(looks smiling to me)! Reading through the last two months of your post I've been so encouraged by both your and Pam's attitude and strength during this tough trip in life!! But I'd expect nothing less from you two! Miss you guys much and cheering from this side of the world for this news!!!! Jacob
I check in daily to see if you have put up a new post.
I just wanted you to know that there is nothing like being "virtually" mooned on a regular basis.
I also think your but looks like it's smiling.
